The objects of the Society are:
(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.
(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.
(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.
(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.
(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.
(f) To offer full support to those participating in the society’s podcast, as the Curtin Podcast Society endeavours to achieve both a successful activity podcast to engage with, but a successful club in general.
(g) To welcome ideas and thoughts regarding topics ranging from pop-culture to politics, without any sense of judgement
(h) To assist members and students feel comfortable and confident with sharing their thoughts, opinions, and ideas towards the Society as a whole.
(i) To provide an opportunity for members to meet other students and associates with similar interests and develop skills.
(j) To help students gain connections, whether that be with other members, committee members, those interested in the society, and industry professionals.
